Quitt-Tipp Olaf Grauwinkel from Horse & Silver tested it: Electronic saddle pressure measurements with a measuring mat from Medilogic showed that a Quittpad Spring saddle pad provides 30% better pressure relief at the tip than a dry sheepskin saddle pad!

The Quittpad Spring saddle pads are equipped with an integrated spring pad – this eliminates the need for an additional saddle pad. 

The highly pressure-relieving  Quittpad 3D spring core of the 3rd generation  acts as a  shock absorber  , significantly reducing stress on the horse, for example during and after the landing phase of a jump. The massive pressure peaks that occur during this phase are absorbed and redirected.

Jumping saddle pads aren’t just effective at jumps: they also reduce and distribute the varying pressures that occur in every phase of movement during gymnastic exercises and pre-jump work. The saddle pad keeps the saddle in position at all times, allowing the rider to sit close to the horse and easily feel the movements of the back muscles. Subtle weight aids are transmitted immediately.

At the same time, the breathable and climate-regulating jumping saddle pad ensures good ventilation of the saddle area. The horse is protected from heat build-up under the saddle, even during strenuous activity.

The  Backlift version  features a small elevation at the rear, for jumping saddles with a rearward center of gravity.

The German Equestrian Federation (FN) has confirmed that Quittpad saddle pads are LPO-compliant for competitions in the disciplines of dressage, show jumping and eventing.

There are several reasons why I like using the Quittpad so much.

First and foremost, I get fantastic feedback from my horses. They feel very comfortable with it, move very freely, and you can even notice a difference when jumping compared to regular pads or saddle blankets. The horses jump with better body movement.

The Quittpad combines a great look with maximum comfort for our equine partner. It offers superior shock absorption, is pleasant against the skin, reduces sweating, and ensures optimal pressure distribution of the saddle across the horse’s back.

The saddle pad should extend 1.5–2 cm beyond the saddle at the front and back.

Sensitive Underside:
The “Sensitive” underside is particularly soft, highly absorbent, and has special capillary properties. In combination with the 3D core, it ensures optimal climate control, creating a “perfect climate under the saddle”.

Easy-care
Quittpad saddle pads can be simply brushed, rinsed with a hose for stubborn dirt, and occasionally machine washed at 60°C. This washes out grease and sebum deposits from the spacer fabric, helping it retain its elasticity.

Allow to dry in a well-ventilated place. When placing it in the washing machine, please ensure that the mat cannot get caught in the door.

Spin cycle:  Only up to  a maximum of 400  revolutions per minute.
Tumble dryer:  Only with the  “Cold Air” program .
